Pellevé uses radiofrequency to gradually and comfortably introduce heat into the skin, stimulating the growth and remodeling of collagen. There is no pain associated with this treatment and no downtime. Many patients say that the treatment feels like a hot stone massage.

Immediately after the treatment, some smoothing and lifting will be seen. This fades in a couple days but as the collagen begins growing in, the effect returns after several weeks. The treatment is repeated at 4 week intervals until the desired effect is achieved, with improvement seen after each session, usually 3-5 sessions. Improvement will continue for 6-9 months after the last treatment. Thereafter, if desired, a single session every 6 months will maintain results.

A full face treatment takes approximately an hour. Some patients choose to target only the eye area, which takes only 15-20 minutes.
